Order Online Burritos [OOB]

Hells-yeah, they finally did it, now you can order from chipotle.com! Tried it today and it actually worked. The only thing is that you have to remember to call and confirm your order 10 minutes after you place your online order. Now I won't ever have to stand in that horrible line during lunch again. Yesssss!

Airshow

I had a wonderful time at the Chino Airshow. I wasn't sure if I was going to like it but I totally did. Here's a pic of my favorite plane there (P-40).

The Da Vinci Code

My thoughts on The Da Vinci Code:
Overall, it's a good movie. I was a little disappointed that they veered from the book's version because I really enjoyed the book. And although I'm a huge fan of Audrey Tautou, I thought she was a little difficult to understand and her accent seemed a bit weird (perhaps due to coaching). It was kinna cool to see the protesters outside the theatre as we exited.
Other things that happened today:
Marco went on a weekend fishing trip with a friend, and
Pablo came back from Toronto with Terry.

High Tech Kitties

Today the girl's new automatic feeder and electronic water dispenser came in the mail...yay! So far so good, the girls seem to love the sound of fresh water coming form the dispenser. I'll report back how I feel about the product after I've had it for a while. My plan is to test it from now until December (vacation time) to make sure the girls are going to be ok while we're gone.

We've got Worms

I went back to work today to find that we had new pets in our office. I've named the two silk worms Oscar and Guinevere. I can't wait to see them turn into cocoons and then pretty moths.

Out Sick

It turns out I got sick and had to stay home from work today. Because sitting up makes it easier to breathe I decided to pass out on the couch. I was gone for a few minutes to get something to eat and came back to find that my spot had been occupied. Smuckers ain't stupid! I think if she could she'd put the blanket over herself. LoL.

Craig's Place

The girls and I had lunch at Craig's today 'cause we wanted to check out his new house and see him again of course. After a lovely tour of his new home we had yummy sandwiches and cake with strawberries. Yum-Yum. I can't wait to do that again!

Funny Cat Sounds

Today I discovered that the girls have developed their own bird calls. Every time the birds outside started chirping, so did the cats. They’re so weird!

Mother's Day

We celebrated Mother's Day early since it was the only time we were all free. I think my mom really enjoyed all of her gifts. We all got her:

- Flowers
- A foot spa
- A magnifying mirror, and
- An alarm clock/sound spa

Ok, so we're standing in line at Wendy's and notice that this guy is wearing sandals with SHOX! What the hell is that about??! Why would anyone need shox on a pair of sandals? I'm puzzled.

Philadelphia

I didn't do anything today and it felt good.

Things I did today:

Went to the Ronald Regan Library/Museum in Simi Valley and enjoyed it very much!
Saw Air Force One, the Oval office, and a chunk of the Berlin Wall.

Went to The Gove in L.A. with friends.
Ate dinner at the farmers market.
Watched Mission Impossible 3 and loved it.
Discovered I'm a big fan of Todd Goldman's work.

Cinco de Mayo

I'm almost 100% recouped from the ATV trip. Good thing too 'cause weekend is coming up and I don't want to spend another weekend in bed.

Dude, ATVs hurt.

OMG I'm in so much pain today! My arms, wrists, and legs are killing me! It took me over 5 minutes just to get a shampoo bottle open while showering and then I could hardly dress myself this morning. I think I'll hold off on buying an ATV for a while.

ATVing in Pismo

The ATV trip turned out to be amazing! We drove over 70 miles in the sand dunes and along the shoreline of Pismo Beach...it was real beautiful. Tomorrow is going to be interesting when I can't move my arms and legs from the pain. LoL! My thumb already feels broken, ouch.

Jocko's in Pismo

Our first day in Pismo was awesome. We checked into a lovely hotel (The Cottage Inn by the Sea) right by the beach and went out for some real yummy steaks at Jocko's steakhouse. This place has the best steaks ever! I can't wait until tomorrow when we get to ride ATVs on the Pismo dunes.

Turning 28

My 28th birthday turned out to be a blast! It started out a little rocky when the restaurant we had planned to have lunch at was closed due to the immigration walkouts. After lunch it started to get better when friends from DRI bought me lunch and the DL gang threw me an awesome birthday party at Janice's. We had such a great time eating and watching a movie.
Thank you to everyone for making my birthday so special! This includes everyone who sent me emails, IM messages and e-cards. You guys are awesome!!

Cheech & Children

Susana and I attended the "Bronze Screen, 100 Years of Latinos in Movies" in Torrance today. I had a wonderful time learning about my culture and the struggles they've had to deal with in Hollywood. The evening ended with a surprise visit by Mr. Cheech Marin who presented 5 students with $1000 scholarships for their outstanding work in their pursuit of a career in the film industry.
A special thanks to Susana for inviting me along and to Karen for hooking us up with the tickets.

Plummer Puppy

Here's another picture I've wanted to take for months. I pass this spot regularly but never had time to stop until today. I'm not sure what the purpose of this puppy is but it sure does add a little something to the area.

The Promenade

Instead of sitting in the parking lot known as the 405 Fwy, I decided to make the best out of the situation and do some shopping. I ended up stopping by the Promenade at the Howard Hughes Center which turned out to be real nice. Next time there's traffic I'll have to explore a bit more.

Yay, I got a letter from Pablo today all the way from Paris.

Go Lakers!

Felix and I airbrushed tattoos for the Staple Center today for the Lakers game. It was pretty cool 'cause we got to watch the game for free if we wanted. I ended up leaving right after the gig but Felix stuck around to see part of the game. I hope I end up going again; the energy in that place was amazing!

Zach's Birthday Party

Today we celebrated Zachy's birthday at his best friend's (Jeff) house in Playa Visata. I had a real nice time and absolutely loved their condo. I think we all had fun, especially Adrian.

Rainbow

A group of us went out to dinner and a movie (Scary Movie 4) after work today. Right before we entered the cinema a real pretty rainbow appeared and we just had to take a picture. Good thing it has stopped raining for now!

Pink StarFish Flowers

Awww...it's always fun getting surprised with flowers. Today Dave surprised Jess (my officemate) with flowers...very pretty flowers. How sweeeeeeeeeeeet!

Pablo in Aalst, Belgium

The first pictures of Pablo in Belgium are in, and it looks like he and Terry are having way too much fun out there! According to Terry, Pablo is a total Party Animal. Birthdays of the Day

My bro and I worked another birthday party in Beverly Hills which turned out to be a total drag 'cause we had to stand outside in the scorching sun for 5 hours! I'm not a huge fan of being in the sun so this was a very bad experience for me. Now I looked stupid 'cause I was wearing a half sleeve shirt. The last thing I need is to walk around with half tanned arms. Argh!

Anyway, on a brighter note, Happy Birthday to Zachy who turns 26 today!! WooHoo! Also, congrats to Zachy and Arielle for their recent engagement! I know you're both going to have a beautiful life together! Cheers!

I think I got up a little too early today! I walked into the office as I always do and put my keys on the new hooks right above the light switches...well, sort of.

- Jess and I got reacquainted with New Kids on the Block, and
- I realized that I can't function without a cup of coffee in the morning.

Stop Already!

Wow, it's really rained this year! It seems like it's rained at least once a week for a while. I do wish it would stop though.

Another Year Gone By...

We celebrated Marco's 33rd birthday at Black Angus today even though his b-day isn't until Wednesday. I can't believe a year has gone by already! Once again Marco was treated to his favorite gifts...Fry's and Best Buy gift cards.

Wooden Anniversary

Today Marco and I celebrated our 5th wedding anniversary! I got a big bouquet of flowers and this super cute card. We had planned a nice dinner but we both ended up getting sick...oh well. It was nice spending time together this weekend though. Happy Anniversary to US! WooHoo!

Circuit City Church

I have wanted to take this picture for months and finally got a chance to do it yesterday. I think it's hilarious that this once was a Circuit City Store and now it's a Korean Church. The funny part is that they didn't even bother to remodel it. LoL! I wonder if they still have the original Circuit City signs inside.

WTF... Deer on the 405 FWY??!?

Here's something Jess and I never expected to find on SigAlert.com. I was stuck in traffic on the way home but didn't get a chance to see the deer, darn it. I wonder where they came from...Beverly Hills? LoL!

Mr. Oven Mitt

The other day while Princess Peak and I were out to lunch at Arby's, I came across this real cute oven mitt key chain. I guess the manager saw how excited I was with it that she ended up just giving it to me. Perhaps I should have just taken a picture of it and left 'cause now I don't know what to do with it.

Correction

It turns out that the picture below was not taken in Izalco, El Salvador but instead was taken in Antigua, Guatemala. My folks decided to take a short trip to Guatemala while in El Salvador and took Pablo along. Here's a picture of my cousin and Pablo that WAS taken in El Salvador.

Attack of the Crazy Kittens

Having two kittens around the house is sometimes difficult. Today I came home to find that my Da Vinci Code CD had been attacked (bitten and scratched). I can't leave anything small out because they'll eat it. I can't leave the closet doors open because they'll make a mess of everything. And you can't leave anything nice out because they'll tear it apart. I can't wait for these kittens to calm down a bit. Crazy girls!

Not Another Goodbye!

Saying goodbye really sucks! Today a bunch of us went to Romano's Macaroni Grill for Craig's farewell lunch. Although I'm very happy for him, I'm real sad to see someone as awesome as he is going! It's just not going to be the same without him! Waaa...
I hope he doesn't stop talking to me for posting this silly picture of him online.

*Lesson of the day: The Layers Lasagna is large enough to feed a small village! Make sure someone wants to split it before ordering.
