Run For The Health Event

Rose ran in this year’s Run for the Health event in Santa Clarita. Her goal was to run 3.2 miles in under 37 minutes and did it in a little over 30 min! Yay! We were all very proud of her! It was awesome to see her cross that finish line!! Click here to see more pictures of the race.

Tinting & Bowling

After a busy morning getting Marco’s conejo tinted, we spent the evening at the local bowling alley with Rose. Marco won both games, ugh!

Coloring & Curry

For this week’s Friday lunch, we went to the Curry House and colored while we waited for our meal. Later we got a chance to see Susana and Chris while on their way to Pittsburg. Yay!

New Camera 4 Costa Rica

Manda ordered herself a super cool water proof, shock proof, camera with image stability for her trip to Costa Rica. Lucky…I wanna go to Costa Rica too! Instead, Pablo will be taking my place.

Lunch @ the Farmer's Market

Angela, Amanda, and I decided to visit the local farmer’s market and have some Pupusas for lunch...YUM YUM! While we were there, we tried some delicious fruit samples and bought some honey straws.

Nighttime Yogurt Run

Marco and I decided to go for a nighttime yogurt run, which was fun because I got the opportunity to drive his new Rabbit. OMG that car is awesome! I was very impressed.

A Gift 4 Prince Jason

Today Amanda and I sent Prince Jason a nice gift while his daddy was out here visiting. I sent him the ceramic pot I made him along with some yummy chocolates and a sweet card. I hope he likes it.

Miki's Mom

Our subject last night was Miki’s mommy who is visiting her from Japan. Her mom turned out to be the loveliest woman I have met in a while. We had a wonderful time having her as a subject! I hope I get to see her again in the future. She suggested I visit Japan someday and I think I may just do that. (Seen above: Miki and her mom Heiko)

Welcome Home Bridges!

Bridges came home today!!! Woohoooo!!!! It’s so nice to have my little car back!

Marco's Rabbit

Marco brought his new Rabbit home but since I am working nights I only got to see it in the dark. It is a spiffy car tho!

It looks like Lily has been warming up to her daddy a little more since I have been gone so much. I think I’ve been replaced, lol.

Susana's Last Day

Today was Susana’s last day (sobbing). Before she left, the girls and I presented her with a cute little gift. We didn’t realize how perfect it was for her until a friend of Susana’s pointed out that she is sweet like a Concha because although Conchas are sweet breads they’re not that sweet. LoL! Just like we always say: “Susana is MOSTLY sweet.” LoL!!!

Susana's Farewell Lunch

We had a large crowd turn out for Susana's farewell lunch today. It’s sad to think that her last day is almost here. Waa…”Whatever I do, I shall not cry.” (puss in boots)

Farmer John the Subject

This is the second week of night studies and I had the pleasure of having Farmer John as a subject. Yay! It was cool being on the other side of the cab for a change. He didn’t enjoy being tortured for so many hours but he did enjoy having dinner paid for. LoL!

It has been so hot lately! Marco and I waited until after 10pm to go out for a drive but even then it was still in the 90s.
