Canadian Show

Marco and I have gotten hooked on some weird Canadian show called Trailer Park Boys. The first episode seemed real stupid but by the end of it I was hooked. It's some low budget show about a fake documentary staring two guys who live in a trailer park with a bunch of other weirdo people. I know it sounds retarded but it's actually pretty entertaining.

Shopping in Camarillo

I decided to do a little shopping today by going to the Camarillo outlets. I didn't really find anything I wanted to buy but I did enjoy walking around looking for stuff that inspired me to take a picture.

Janice's Baby Shower

Janice's baby shower was a success! I think everyone had a good time...at least I hope they did. Throwing a baby shower is a lot of hard work, but definitely worth it!

I got an awesome email from my buddy DJ Woody who is living in the most amazing house in Connecticut. I'm so jealous! He and his wife have a fabulous house, their own little pond, and a forest ..damn that's awesome! Anyway, here's a great pic of him and his kitty Mr.Bill. Lucky Duck!

Sour Ear Wax

So today I picked up some more unusual candy. It was on sale so I figured, "what the hell." I didn't even look at the name but I did see that it was Sour Squeeze candy so I thought "Yummy!" I took it home and found I had to screw on a plastic head and squeeze the candy out. When I looked at the name I couldn't stop laughing! It's called Ear Wax! Anyway, when you squeeze the tube this gooey candy oozes out of its ears...Yum Yum! Doesn't that sound delicious? Even my kitty was curious. LoL.

Birthday Gifts

I had a real nice lunch with Amanda and Tina today. During lunch they both exchanged birthday gifts and Amanda got this real cute matching outfit from Tina. In return Tina got a super cute dress and necklace from Amanda. How sweet!

Angels

Rose and I got hooked up with tickets to watch the Angels play this weekend. It was so much fun! I'm not much of a baseball fan but I'm always down for great seats, and great food, especially when it's all for free!

Amanda's 28th

Today we went to Sammy's in Torrance and celebrated Amanda's 28th birthday. The food was wonderful except for the moth someone found in their salad. Thanks to the moth incident we all got hooked up with free dessert, yummy!

Great 80's List

I got an email from Amanda that totally made my day. The email was called "Great 80's List" and lists all kinds of stuff you should know if you grew up in the 80's. Man it brought back some memories.

Marco’s Complaints

I've had writer's block (or should I say "blogger's block.") the last couple of days and today Marco complained that I was disappointing my readers. I don't really have anything new to report so I'll just talk about the new candy I found this week. It's a watermelon super sour spray candy and it's yummy! Today I brought it home for Marco to taste thinking he might like it. Instead his reaction was:
"That stuff tastes like piss in a bottle."
Oh well, I still like it.

Mr. & Mrs. Gaskins

I had a wonderful time at Jess' wedding today. It had been over a year since I last saw her and she looked absolutely ravishing at her wedding. I'm so happy for her and Sven! I know they'll live happily every after. Best Wishes to the both of them.

Project Runway Design @ Macy's

Those of you who watch Project Runway on Bravo will know what I'm talking about.

They actually put Angela's design for sale at Macy's! I still can't believe she won the last challenge. I have hated every single design she's come up with in the past but I think this one worked only because her teammates kept her from going over the top with it. It looked ok on the rack, but I still wouldn't buy it.

Addicted to Kelly

The DRI girls and I attended Kelly Clarkson's "Addicted"concert today...omg it was so awesome! Sure, the place was filled with 10-year-old little girls and their plastic moms but we still had an awesome time. This was my first concert experience and it won't be my last! I'll never forget how we walked across the grass, over sewer, and across many rocks to avoid the crowd, LOL. That was so funny!

A special thanks to Susana for arranging this trip for us. I can't wait until our next outing!
